Top 11 French Phrases


"Ça va" 
=How is it going?".  or "How are you doing?". And it's also used to reply - "Fine, OK"...
"Voilà!"
="Here is... ""Here are ..."

"Bonjour Monsieur/ Madame, je voudrais… s’il vous plait."
= Hello Sir/ Ms., I would like… ,please.

 "Je m’appelle…"
= My name is…

" C'est trop"
= It is too much...

"Viens ici..."(maitenant)
= Come here,(now)...

"Merci Beaucoup"
= Thank you very much/ Thank you a lot

"Pardon/ Excusez-moi"
= Sorry/ Excuse me/ Pardon me

"Combien ça coute?"
= How much does this cost/ How much is this?

"L’addition, s’il vous plait."
= The check, please.


"C'est la vie!"
=This is life...

Te' ver = green tea to be drunk while attending TD classes :D
7ilween and i know some of them but the final one is "domageeee" very holistic :)

nice post walaa it will learn us more french words, and i think those are basic phrases in french, right?

Some of the French expressions used in English oo are:
bon appétit: or enjoy your meal.
R.S.V.P: répondez, s'il vous plaît, written at the end of English written invitations and means: Please reply with acceptance or rejection.
Bon Voyage: have a nice trip.
