The Art of Food

Try it you won't regret it.

"The eye eats before the mouth". Preparing food has always been an art for me. That's why I like preparing food, because food is not only a matter of eating, I like to think about food as a painter would think about his painting!
Arepa is one of the easiest but delicious recipes, so here are the ingredients:
1 1/2 cup of water and 1 tsp of salt for each cup of Arepa flour
White cheese of your choice. If you want, you can mix more than one kind together
Grab a few tomatoes and slice them very thin.
Sauce: Mix mayonnaise and mustard together.

You mix the flour, the water and salt and then you make them into patties and you fry it in hot oil until they become a golden-yellowish color.
Then remove them from the oil.
After that, you  slice it open, and fill each patty sauce, cheese and the tomato. Bon Appetit!

What are you doing?

We often see messages on Facebook, and other social media, that someone has just "eaten", "washed their hands" or has "woken up". Actually what are you doing? Why would you post something that has no meaning to it?

Personally, I think that you should use this opportunity to write about meaningful things. For example, talk about what interests you, and talk about your likes in life. Also use this space to write about what hooks your attention from the outer world. Use it to educate others, and help spread awareness. Ask questions that would force people to use their critical thinking and evaluate a specific incident/occasion that has occurred, recently or in the past. Use it as a way to enforce a relationship with your followers, so that they can share their opinions and what they think. Also use it to share your own opinions and thinkings about what is going on around you, expressing whether you like it, or are against it. Express the advantages and/or disadvantages about something you like. Ask people their opinion on something that confuses you. Give exclusive advice for your friends and family. Share with your friends useful link and website so that they can benefit from them. Discuss valuable books. Also take an advantage from this social media to develop a good business affairs and work.

Technology

Technology is said to improve the way people develop and maintain their relations. It;s is not only the technology of information. But also the technology of communication. This progress of development of technology helps in accomplishing different types of work, easily and without consuming a lot of physical energy.

Friends will also stay in contact through internet games, although the distance that separates them might be far. This is especially good, for students or parents living abroad and far from their family. It helps them stay in contact and ion touch with each other. And not only talk with them, and hear their voices, but also to see them, as if they are living right next to them.

Personally, I am against excessive use of technology. Because I see that it seprates people and makes them more distant, than it relates them. Since we are used to the virtual chatting, we are more likely to spend time with people and not talk with them, because we would be too much concerned with the virtual world that we forget we are sitting with other "real" people. So many people would prefer to leave their family, and spend time on this virtual world, and not sitting with them. So that it is clear to us the more we are integrated in technology, the less we become in being integrated in the real world.

What are your rights as students?

We have always been asked to fulfill our duties and responsibilities towards teachers and schools. But no one ever cared to tell us what are our rights. Our basic right are speech and dress. We have the full right to express our opinions in dressing whatever we want and feel but with disturbing class and school regulations. We have the right to a fair treatment and equality in education. So all students should have equal educational opportunities whatever their colour, race, sex, and/or religion.

Our lockers, backpacks, purses, and cars are subject to be searched only if the school has the policy to search them when they feel that they might find a reasonable suspicion  or doubt to find something that might be harmful or is an evidence to a violation/crime.

We have the right to the privacy of our results and exams. No one is entitled to see our exams only the people with concern, i.e. parents teachers and administration.

The final right, is we have the right to apply an objection to the administration. And also be given sound evidence from the rules and regulations of the school.

Teacher-Students Relationship

There are two contradictory philosophies in regards to the teacher-student relationship. While the first suggest that the teacher should always keep in mind that they have to make it clear that students are not their friends and they would have to show them this, and not just tell them. The other philosophy suggests a good and friendly relationship leads to a better developed relation and respect, in addition higher achievement

In my opinion, all teachers make mistake when they are teaching. But I think that one the worst mistakes is to destroy the relationship between them and their students. Therefore, the teacher needs to be friendly and should be understanding for their students and their problems. And also, they have to be ready to offer help and support. Also they should be ready to discuss, and not to be stubborn. Rather, they should be open minded and have good communication skills, and should be accessible to everyone.

In short, I think that students should have a  relationship with their teacher that is not that of an enemy nor that of their best friend. Because it is always easy to remember your best and worst teacher.

How to start a conversation

How to start a conversation without having to resort to having conversations about the weather, try the following steps when you don't have anything to say, or when meeting someone new.

Use the occasions as a topic starter. Talk about the occasion that bring you together. For example, if at a wedding, talk about how beautiful the ceremony is, or the bride is. Also you can talk about any news that is related to the society* let it be social. Remember never talk about sensitive topics, like politic, and religion. Sometime, when I realize that I am the only one who is talking, I stay silent for a while. If the other partner has been engaged in the conversation, I try to follow the cue that is found in our conversation, so I can really know what is interesting for him/her.

Remember to always have small and short talks. Also give a chance for the other person to reply. It is not nice for only one person to do all the talking, and the other one just listens. If you keep talking monologously, the other person will become bored and will loose interest in talking with you.
